RB Studios Video Production received 2 awards at the 2008 Utah Professional Videographers Association 7th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition in Salt Lake City. Owner Russ Broadhead said, “We were awarded 2nd place for The Batty Bride & Groom Production (we call it the Bridal Film) and 3rd place for Chelsi Petersen’s “Celebration of Life” Film. It’s been an awesome experience being associated with such talented wedding filmmakers in Utah. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our fabulous clients thank you thank you thank you!” 

RB Studios Video Production has been in business since 2005 and produces a limited number of wedding films each year. They have filmed more that 50 wedding and don’t just produce wedding films. In January 2009 they completed a Book of Mormon scripture trivia DVD game titled “Remember The Word: The Book of Mormon Edition” which is available at Amazon.com and will soon be found in LDS bookstores across the United States.

RB Studios Video Production was established in 2005 in St. George, Utah and has shot over 40 weddings. RB Studios Video Production was presented with 3 awards at the 6th annual UPVA (Utah Professionals Videography Association) Creative Excellence Competition. They recieve 2nd place for their Love Story, 3rd for their Reception, and 3rd place for their post ceremony or temple film. Companies all over the state submitted films from last year and were judged by other professional videographers all over the world. “We were just excited to attend and even more excited that we were recognized by other professional videographer for our work! What an honor! We would like to thank everyone that has assisted us in becoming the best we can be! Thank You!” said Russ Broadhead executive producer for RB Studios.

The Ultimate Wedding Showcase Bridal Fair was this past weekend and we had a blast participating! It was at the Dixie Center January 26th, and if you didn’t attend, you missed out! Some of the best wedding professionals St. George has to offer participated and brides were treated to a wonderful fashion show presented by Bridal Elegance and a hair demonstration by Paul Mitchell Hair Academy. The cake dive, sponsored by JK Jewelers and Twenty-five Main cakes, drew a crowd and sent one young bride home with a beautiful new piece of “bling”.

TheDixieBridalGuide.com (a local online planning guide) presented Mandy Spackman with a new video iPod, and many other vendors gave of their time and talents freely. Sometimes it can be difficult planning a wedding in St. George and The Ultimate Wedding Showcase and The Dixie Bridal Guide are striving to bring the brides and professionals together as smoothly as possible.We had so much fun meeting newly engaged brides and their families, showing them our work, and explaining why we love what we do. It’s time again for St. George Utah’s annual Bridal Show! The Ultimate Wedding Showcase bridal event will be held January 26, 2008 from 10am-6pm at the Dixie Convention Center. Our industry experts will bring new and innovative ideas to future brides. This bridal show displays what’s really happening in our local wedding industry. It gives you the chance to meet and talk to people who work in weddings daily, and lets you see everything first hand. It is totally worth attending and will help you find those local wedding professionals that will help make your wedding day memorable. There will be photographers, videographers, caters, florists, DJ’s, chocolate fountains, travel agents, ceremony and reception locations, bridal gowns, jewelers, wedding planners, linen and decoration rentals, tuxedos, and more!  Wedding Vendors, being part of this exiting event, you will be able to show your services and products to a captive audience. Many People think that a wedding video consists of only footage gathered on the wedding day, but that is not the case. The above is an example of a Love Story. It is a hybrid between the photo montage, couple interview, and date video. In a nutshell, the Love Story is a very entertaining way for those attending the wedding to see the couple interacting, growing up, and how they fell in love. The production is filmed, approved, and completed before the wedding to allow for viewing at the luncheon, dinner, or reception. Because of the magnitude of the project, we ask that you contact us 1-2 months in advance to guarantee satisfaction.Preserving this special time in life is our passion.
